The MRO Hangar is a state of the art Hangar allowing Bombardier Aviation to double the size of its service centre to create capacity for 14 Global 7500 aircraft.

The project involved the construction of 250,000 sq ft hangar, with workshop and office space, and 650,000 sq ft of apron and landscape allowing Bombardier Aviation to double the size of its service centre to create capacity for 14 Global 7500 aircraft

It is the largest cantilever roofed hangar to be built in the UK for more than 50 years. The complex cantilever design allows the roofs to safely span the hangar without support from any internal columns, creating a vast floor space, and is the winner of a Structural Steel Design Award.
